Abstract
This article explores the fascinating world of Kaprekar's constant, the number 6174, a gem of recreational mathematics. In addition to commenting on the life of its discoverer, Dattatreya R. Kaprekar, it details the simple algorithm that, starting from almost any four-digit number, inevitably converges to 6174. Through examples and graphic visualizations, the universality of this "number attractor" is demonstrated, revealing how complex and predictable patterns
