Abstract
In recent years, technological advancements have significantly changed our daily lives. Examples include cell phones, lenses with anti-reflective coatings, and solar panels. Although they seem very different, they all share a common feature: coatings called thin films. These layers, nearly invisible to the human eye, are applied to various materials to modify their properties—such as improving electrical conductivity, reducing light reflection, or increasing solar energy absorption. Thanks to these thin films, many modern devices work like we know them today.
